AERIAL YOGA

A staged approach to Anti-Gravity Yoga

Aerial Yoga is an incredibly decompressive and supportive experience for the whole body. Often referred to as Anti-gravity Yoga, our Studio welcomes everyone from complete beginners to the seasoned Yogi.

We are so passionate about empowering you in your experience of Aerial Yoga. We pride ourselves in offering classes that range from beginner to intermediate and advanced levels to ensure every body is able to participate confidently in the practice.

 

Our structured approach gives you the tools to feel secure & confident in your practice. We require you to complete a checklist of skills acquired through our beginners sessions to move on to more challenging sessions. This ensures you have the skills and tools to enjoy every class in our Silks.

How it Works

All new clients will be treated as beginners and we will guide you through the core concepts of Aerial Yoga to ensure you feel safe, secure and excited to advance through your practice to the next stage. 

You  will be given a checklist during your Beginners essentials Workshop with a number of core concepts and attributes we will guide you through to progress into the more challenging class levels.  For some of us, this will only take one session, others may prefer to stay close to the ground for a few weeks. Remember, this is your practice, we are only here to guide you through!

** Please be sure to book early to avoid disappointment as our numbers for classes are limited. Classes are kept small to ensure you get all the mentoring you require.

Beginners Essentials Workshop
1st & 2nd of July 2023
3-4:30pm

Our Beginners Essentials Workshop will introduce you to the essentials of Aerial Yoga. During these 90 minute sessions you will learn the core components of grips, traps and wraps which will orientate you when you leave the ground. We will explore movement and asana in the hammock at ankle, knee and hip height to get you comfortable with taking a load off and trusting the supports of the silks. The Beginners Essentials Workshop will run on the 1st & 2nd of July from 3pm

$125 per person for the full course running Saturday & Sunday

Intermediate Classes

In our Intermediate Classes we will move into the High Hammock, learning to give weight to the Silks and using them as a tool to support better movement, flexibility and mobility. We will also introduce full-inversions, using the Silks to reduce the forces of gravity and experience decompression through the spine.

Advanced Classes

In our Advanced Classes we will hang out in full inversions and practice more dynamic postures in complete support of the hammock. You will well and truly be leaving the ground and experiencing the enormous benefits of  decompression through inversions as well as some serious core conditioning. Who knows, we might even play with a few tugs and flips along the way. These classes consolidate all you've learnt along the way and allow you to have some serious fun in our Silks.

Packages & Memberships

We have a range of options to suit all of our clients needs and preferences. 

For those who wish to attend casually we offer Class Pass Packs and for those who wish to make their practice a regular weekly habit, we offer membership programs that make it more affordable, starting from just $23 per week.
