Liability Policy

Students of arise.YOGA attend classes, workshops and retreats at their own risk. It is up to the student to report any injuries, illnesses or concerns to their teacher prior to their class. It is also a requirement of the student to keep their details up to date via their online account including that of your Emergency Contact.  Pregnant ladies and ladies who have previously given birth might chose to have a clearance from their Doctor to participate in any class and do so at their own risk.

 

 

Mobile Phone Policy

Phones are welcome into the studio but must be kept with your belongings at the storage racks AND MUST BE ON SILENT WITHOUT VIBRATION, OR SWITCHED OFF. If you need to have your phone next to you for work or medical reasons, it must be on silent without vibration, and the screen facing up so you can see it throughout your practice to limit interruption to other students. If you need to take a call or leave during class, please roll up your mat, leave your props and depart quietly, we will pack up for you.

NEVER TAKE A CALL, SEND A MESSAGE, OR CONTINUE A CALL IN THE STUDIO.

Please use the hand sanitiser provided.

Please bring your own props, we have minimal studio mats to borrow should you need.

If you borrow a mat, please wipe it down before returning to reception.

Please spray your blocks and bolster prior to returning them.

Cancellation / Membership / 5, 10 & 25 Pack /  10 Day trial / Workshops / Restorative

Studio may close on public holidays.  Members on direct debits can suspend their direct debit memberships for minimum 2 weeks at a time for a total of 6 weeks in a 12 month period. You cannot suspend any membership for less than 14 days. Upfront 1 month memberships do not have the option for any suspensions.  Upfront 3 month memberships can suspend for 2 weeks during the 3 month period. All suspension requests are to be in writing 1 week prior to commencement date of intended suspension.  Members on a direct debit ongoing fortnightly membership must continue the membership for a minimum of 6 weeks or 3 payments. There are no administration fees for sign ups, suspensions, or cancellations. There may be an administration fee for other requests. Please note that a fortnightly membership will continue automatically, you cannot cancel your membership online, please send notification in email, text or messenger giving 2 weeks notice for the cancellation.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Please choose your purchase carefully as all purchases are strictly non refundable (unless the event is cancelled and then a full refund will be issued).

  • arise.YOGA reserves the right to cancel and change teachers, events, classes and workshops without prior notice.

  • Please note that Stripe is our online merchant facility so payments made online will show up on your bank statement under stripe, arise.YOGA, (Healthy Body Solutions Australia Pty Ltd).

  • We strongly recommend booking for classes, workshops and events.

  • If you have purchased a workshop, aerial yoga, retreat or restorative session, and are no longer able to attend you can gift your place to someone else and if so please inform us. If it is a retreat and a late change of attendee, then we cannot guarantee any ability to change menu to suit their dietary needs. Please respect this policy as you cannot receive a credit for this to be used at a different date - it's important to understand that you held a space which means it was therefore unable to be purchased by anyone else.

  • The 10 day introductory offer is only available to students who have never visited arise.YOGA or made any purchase of classes with arise.YOGA, with the exception of those students who have purchased and participated in workshops or retreats. The 10 days are consecutive from the date of first class attended. New students are only able to take up one of the introductory offers at their very first ever visit, if they opt to attend as a casual, then the 10 day offer is no longer available. The 10 day trial offer gives you unlimited access to all group classes on our schedule, including yoga, pilates and zen.CYCLE at our Highfields studio, and yoga and pilates at our Toowoomba studio. This pass does not give access to any workshops, aerial yoga, restorative yoga or retreats. The 10 day pass cannot be extended, paused, share, refunded or exchanged. The 10 day pass gives you access to both Highfields and Toowoomba Studios.

  • We currently have a 1 hour cancellation policy on all classes, please head to your app, online booking or text 0417821682 if you cannot make a class, in particular zen.CYCLE. There are only a certain number of bikes available. If the class has a wait list and you do not cancel, you will lose your class credit or payment.

  • Those who purchase 5, 10 or 25 class packs do so with the understanding that they cannot be extended or refunded. The 5 and 10 packs can be transferred to another client by contacting your studio - this is the full remaining pack - this will not alter the expiration date. The 25 class pack is the only pack that can be family shared or split - this must be done in studio, this does not alter the expiration date. 5 packs are valid for 3 months, 10 packs are valid for 6 months, 25 packs are valid for 12 months. If your request to extend your pass is granted due to reasons beyond your control, then an administration fee will be applicable.

  • If you pay for a casual class and cancel, the credit will be returned to your arise.YOGA account for you to use within 30 days.

  • If you sign up to a workshop, retreat, aerial or restorative yoga session, you are accepting that you will be in attendance at the time(s) and date(s) provided. There are no extensions, make ups, refunds or exchanges. If your workshops runs for a number of days/weeks/months and you do not attend some of the sessions, there are no make ups, refunds, exchanges or transfers available.
