Over 7 weeks Terri will guide you through a combination of Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Kriya Releases, and Guided Meditations as we move up the spine to channel each chakra individually, enhancing your understanding of the energy centers along your spine and their relationship to your well being.


This Combination will see each student gaining the initial connection with the body, followed by connection with breath and awareness of self, completed with the release through a guided meditation.

Hatha simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures. The word “Hatha” can be translated as “willful” or the yoga of activity, and as “sun” (ha) and “moon” (tha), the yoga of balance.


Kundalini Yoga is a powerful technology brought to the West from Yogi Bhajan in 1969. Through specific sets he gave, we are able to become more aware of our blocks, both emotionally and physically, and practice toward more wholeness. Kundalini Yoga is sometimes referred to as "the yoga of awareness". It is powerful and fulfilling.

A guided meditation is a state of relaxed concentration invoked and led by another party with the sole purpose to achieve mental, emotional and physical healing, relaxation and stress relief.


The chakras (energy centers or vortexes) are a system utilised in a variety of natural therapies, including Yoga, to better understand the aspects of ourselves that relate to how we are in the world and in our relationships. At any given moment, we are directing our energies from one chakra more strongly than any other. The navel empowers us when balanced, the heart opens us to new possibilities, the hips open us to our feelings and the head center allows us to experience life and express ourselves from a higher awareness and understanding.


Kundalini Yoga is sometimes referred to as "the yoga of awareness". It is powerful and fulfilling. It can be performed by anyone, in the privacy of your own space and time, or purely amazing when practiced as a group. Combine this with the beautiful, purposeful movement of Hatha and the opportunity to partake in an assisted, guided meditation - these sessions are set to be something purely special.


Terri has worked for many years in helping people to let go, to be present, in the moment and step away from the stress and busyness of their lives, teaching them through class how to disconnect from the unneeded and connect with the self.

This workshop is open to Men and Women from the age of 16 and can have huge positive effects on releasing stress, tension and help bring balance, peace and calm.

Members are those on upfront 1 or 3 month recurring membership, or those on fortnightly direct debit memberships. Refunds, transfers or catch ups are not available.


All movement will be achievable on any level and modifiable for those with reduced mobility or restrictions, chairs available, studio accessible by ramp. All equipment is provided, please wear comfortable clothing, bring water, towel and yoga mat (should you own one) and a scarf. Please arrive no later than 5 minutes prior to class commencement and no earlier than 15 minutes prior to class commencement. If you chose, you may wear something in the colour relevant to the chakra as indicated above.
